Saving wild animals by their translocations

Using mobile barriers/seasonal fences, specially protected wild species (amphibians, reptiles and other small animals) are captured at sites threatened or negatively affected by building activities, e.g. building of roads, motorways, highways, housing estates, shopping centres/supermarkets, etc. or by preparatory activities for mining activities in mines, pits or quarries). Consequently, the saved animals are translocated to new suitable substitute or compensatory sites or into the Herpetological Station in Hradec Králové for temporary keeping.
